- New: Salary Converter for any country. Type pay quoted per hour, day, week, month or year, in any currency, and see it for every period at once. Hours per week, days per week and weeks per year are editable (40, 5 and 52 are labelled common practice), with the US federal 2,087-hour work year from OPM as an option. Open page
- New: Income Tax Bracket Calculator for any country. Type your taxable income and up to eight brackets (where each starts and its rate, in any currency) to get the tax, the effective rate and the marginal rate, with the tax in each bracket shown. - New: UAE Corporate Tax Calculator. 0% on Taxable Income up to AED 375,000 and 9% above (Cabinet Decision 116 of 2022), with Small Business Relief for Tax Periods ending on or before 31 December 2029 (Ministerial Decision 131 of 2026). Open page
- New: EV Charging Cost and Time Calculator. Energy added to the battery, energy drawn from the grid after charging losses, the cost in any currency (with an optional second price to compare) and the charging time at constant power, marked as an estimate. Open page
- New: Tyre Size and Speedometer Error Calculator. Compare two tyre sizes (metric such as 205/55 R16, or inch such as 31x10.50 R15) by sidewall, diameter, circumference and revolutions per km and mile, and see the true speed after a change beside the UN R39 speedometer rule. Open page
- New: Hijri ↔ Gregorian Date Converter on the Umm al-Qura calendar of Saudi Arabia, both ways, from KACST's own month-length table for 1300 to 1500 AH (12 November 1882 to 16 November 2077). Dates outside that range are refused, not estimated; month names follow KACST in English, Urdu and Arabic. Open page
- Zakat, fitrana/fidya and Islamic inheritance calculators retired. GlanceDesk no longer publishes religious calculations; please ask a scholar of your school.
- Zakat, fitrana and inheritance: one authority's route was removed at that authority's request. Results for the other authorities are unchanged.
- New: Islamic Inheritance (Faraid) Calculator, first with Dawat-e-Islami's rules (Hanafi): funeral costs, debts and a bequest of at most one third come first, then exact fractions and amounts for spouses, children, son's children, parents, grandparents and brothers and sisters, with 'awl and radd. Every rule is quoted from Bahar-e-Shariat or Dawat-e-Islami's fatwas and linked; families that need a rule not covered are refused, not estimated.
- Zakat and fitrana pages: one authority does not permit its fatwas to be republished, so its own words are no longer shown; each of its lines keeps our one-line summary and a link to the fatwa. No amount changed.
- Zakat and fitrana pages: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who died on 28 February 2026, is now marked as such, with a note asking you to check with your marja's office whether you may continue to follow these rulings. His published rulings and every amount are unchanged. A fitrana quote is now character-exact.
- New: Fitrana (zakat al-fitr) and Fidya Calculator, with the same schools and authorities as the zakat page, including Dawat-e-Islami, the UAE Council for Fatwa, Jordan's Iftaa Department, al-Sistani and Khamenei. Each authority's food and weight is quoted and linked; you type your local price, in any currency, in kg or lb.
- Pakistan electricity bill now warns how many units are left before the next slab and shows the bill at the first unit of that slab, from the same NEPRA tariff (S.R.O. 279(I)/2026). No bill amounts changed. Open page
- New: Pakistan Federal Government Pay Calculator 2026-27: basic pay in the new Basic Pay Scales-2026 for your scale and stage, the 7% Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2026, GPF, income tax and take-home pay, from the Finance Division's O.M.s of 21 July and 13 August 2026. Type your old BPS-2022 basic pay to see the new one. Open page
- New: Pakistan Property Transfer Tax Calculator 2026-27: the advance tax the buyer (section 236K) and the seller (section 236C) pay at transfer, from the Finance Act 2026 (buyer 1.25%, seller 2.75% on the Active Taxpayers List), on the higher of the price and FBR's valuation, with last year's figure beside it. - Pakistan salary tax now also gives take-home pay after provident fund, EOBI and other deductions, with a monthly payslip table: medical allowance is tax-free up to 10% of basic salary (Second Schedule, clause 139), and an employer provident fund share above 10% of basic or Rs 150,000 a year is taxed (Sixth Schedule, rule 3). Tax results for the same salary are unchanged. Open page
- New: Zakat Calculator for the Hanafi (Dawat-e-Islami and a second Hanafi authority), Maliki (UAE Council for Fatwa), Shafi'i (Jordan Iftaa) and Shia Ja'fari (Sistani, Khamenei, with khums) rulings. You choose your school and authority; every line shows that authority's rule, its own words and a link. Any currency; grams, tola or troy ounces. Hanbali follows once its gram figures are read from a Hanbali source. Pakistan's state deduction rules can be shown beside the result and never change it.
- New: Pakistan Electricity Bill Calculator 2026, from the residential tariff the Federal Government notified on 12 February 2026 (S.R.O. 279(I)/2026): protected and non-protected slabs, life line, fixed charges on the sanctioned load, 18% sales tax and section 235 income tax. The same rates apply at every DISCO and K-Electric. Open page
- New "Next step" after the Pakistan salary tax result: it opens the loan payment (EMI) calculator with your monthly take-home pay filled in, and the loan page then shows the monthly payment as a share of that pay. No tax results changed. Open page
- Every result can now be printed or saved as a PDF, and downloaded as a CSV file that opens in Excel, including Urdu and Arabic text. The file is made in your browser; nothing is sent to us. No results changed.
- UAE gratuity now shows "Rule in force from 2 February 2022", quoted from Article 74 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the official MOHRE text. The three Pakistan tax calculators show "Rule in force 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027", the tax year they cover. No results changed. Open page
- Under the answer, each calculator that rests on a rule now lists its assumptions (for example the tax year, or that the cap applies to the basic wage). Every line repeats what the tool already said in its notes; unit converters and plain arithmetic tools need none. No results changed.
- Every main answer now names its unit. Money answers say "in your currency", because you type the currency yourself. No results changed.
- Under every answer: a status label (Checked, Estimate, or Being verified after 180 days without a re-check), the date the tool was last checked and its main official source, plus a Copy result button. Answers that rest on a rate or price you type, such as currency, gold and remittance, are labelled Estimate. No results changed.
- The footer address is easier to read (its contrast now meets the WCAG AA level), and Urdu pages load faster: the Urdu font file is smaller, about 194 KB less on the Urdu salary tax page.
- Correction on the unit tables: the marla table's "1 acre" row showed 43,560 sq ft in both columns. It is replaced by a small table, Marla and kanal in one acre: 193.6 marla (9.68 kanal) with the 225 sq ft Lahore district marla, and 160.15 marla (8.01 kanal) with the 272 sq ft marla used elsewhere in Punjab. - Calculator pages are lighter: each page now loads only its own language (the loan EMI page went from 273 KB to 9 KB of script). No results changed.
- New: Marla, Kanal & Square Feet Converter (Punjab), using the official sizes (225 sq ft in Lahore district, 272 sq ft elsewhere in Punjab), and a marla and kanal table on the unit tables page. Open page
- New: Currency Converter for 20 currencies including PKR, SAR and AED, with the day's reference rate, its source and update time; you can type your own bank's rate instead. Your browser downloads the public rate table; the amount you type is never sent. Open page
- The five unit converters that had no questions and answers now have their own, in English, Urdu and Arabic.
- Urdu and Arabic pages: a negative result now shows its minus sign in front of the number (it appeared after it, for example "40-" for -40). No results changed.
- Three reference table pages, in English, Urdu and Arabic: Pakistan income tax slabs 2026-27, UAE vs Saudi end of service, and unit conversion tables, each worked out by the calculators' own code. Search results now show what each calculator answers and its worked example. Open page
- The six crypto calculators moved to their own site, GlanceDesk Crypto (glancedeskcrypto.com). Old links open the same tool there.
- UAE gratuity now cites Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 itself (the official MOHRE text), shows a note when the two years' wage cap applies, and shows money with 2 decimals. No results changed. Open page
- Every calculator is now in Urdu and Arabic, in the standard wording Google uses for each language, with the English page as the reference.
- New: Pakistan Freelancer & IT Export Tax Calculator, tax year 2027 (FBR, section 154A). Open page
- New: Remittance True-Cost Checker, showing the fee plus the hidden exchange-rate margin on money sent from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Pakistan. Open page
- The homepage row of suggested tools is now called "Start here", with a line saying how it was chosen: from what people search for, not from visitor counts, which its earlier name suggested. Category chips wrap on phones instead of sliding sideways.
- Electricity cost: the U.S. Department of Energy page we cited was removed, so the source is now the U.S. EIA page "Measuring electricity", and its own example (40 W for 5 hours = 0.2 kWh) is one of the tool's tests. No results changed. Open page
- 15 new tools, including the loan repayment schedule, UAE gratuity, Saudi end of service, Pakistan net-to-gross salary, gold value, VAT and BMI. New All tools menu, search that matches common names, Saved tools, a bottom bar on phones, and the site can be installed as an app.
